Weird sound from rear bottom of my car...

happens when I leave car off for more than 3~5 hours and turn on..
from sound clip...it starts after 33sec...
This sound coming from rear bottom... what is it???

my guess would be that tin metal (gas tank heat shield) is vibrating
on the exhaust when cold ?

Is that a wierd buzzing/vibration sound? I get that too, although it doesn't last as long as yours (only about a second or two). It only occurs when the car hasn't been driven for a while and unlike your observation, I've noticed that it's more prevalent in cold weather. In the summer, I don't really get anything....which is also the time I took it to the dealer to get it checked but they couldn't find anything.
