Aftermarket Infiniti Intelligent Key System?

I just bought a 2004 G35 coupe last month. Last week I took it to the dealer to get a suspension problem fixed. They gave me an '07 G35 Sedan as a loaner. It had the Infiniti Intelligent Key System. It was awesome. Not having to ever take the keys out of my pocket was great. So, my question is can I get that installed on my G35? If so, where would I go to get it installed?
Thanks,

Yeah that would be sick!

I have a 5AT, but it seems like it'd be quite a big task and a lot of $$ for a relatively minor thing. How much work would be involved?

Yeah, I want to know also.. have an '04 5at... Same situation... took it to the dealsership.. Gave me an 07 sedan (Smart move on their end) Trying to get you to come back and get it! That thing is great AWD, drives in the snow like an SUV, I almost didn't want my G35 (for a hot second). How much would the mod cost? Anyone?

are you asking about the pushbutton start like the new altima and the g35 sedan,or the old intellikey like the murano and maximas.the new system could not be retro fitted as the inteligent fob and pushbutton are part of the bcm behind the cluster and the idpm under the hood, totally different harness and design. the intellikey like in the maximas and muranos, where you still have to turn the cylinder is actually a separate reciever and cylinder that sends data to the bcm based upon seeing the key in your pocket or a valid nats key in the cylinder.i do car starters for nissan here in canada and do a alot of electrical work as well and it would be a nightmare to retro the cylinder style one in but do-able,the push button, impossible.unless you stripped out the harness from a complete 07 sedan and retroed it into your coupe.and even then it may not work.

oh yeah, and really not worth it,that goofy push button has been a real pain in the *** for people that have to work on those cars, regular intellikey i can deal with,i just dont have a lot of faith in the bush button thing, too much going on,there is a 12 pin harness coming out the back of that button and another 10 pin harness out the back of the fob box on the bottom of the dash and the bcm is way scarrier than ours.

just get a car starter installed.
