Basic Warranty: The basic warranty covers everything except items that are subject to wear and tear or replacement in the ordinary course of vehicle ownership, such as oil and air filters, wiper blades and brake pads. Tires and batteries are often excluded, but usually have their own warranty provided by the manufacturers of those items. Emissions equipment is required by Federal law to be covered for five years or 50,000 miles.

Drive Train Warranty: In some cases the drive train warranty continues after the basic warranty has expired. This part of the warranty covers most of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft. Like the basic warranty, "consumable" parts such as hoses and belts are not covered. However, most of the internal parts of the engine, such as the pistons and bearings, which are also subject to wear and tear, are covered by the drive train warranty.
The clutch is not part of the transmission, its a wear and tear item as its meant to grab onto the flywheel much like brakes do which also aren't covered in most cases

Damn it,

I just called the stealership and they told me the clutch only have 12000 miles warrenty. If its broken, it will cost me $800-900.
However, i think the break pad is under warrenty, they told me I have to change it by next oil change but its cover under warrenty.

Well, i better not practice until i ahve the money. $900+/month payment on my car is already overwhelming!

(Sorry, no technique to share, I am a new too :P)

On paper the IS350 is faster.

IS350
HP: 307 (underrated)
TQ: 277

G35: 293 (overrated)
TQ: 258

I mean cmon, I bet the guys saying how the G will win against the IS are the same people saying they smoked an EVO and STI while driving in reverse with their G. Cause they have a special Nissan Skyline 350gt version. It says so on the trunk.

haha. Can you imagine some IS350 owners removing their badge and slapping on the Toyota badage? hahah.

The only reason people don't rebadge the is350 as a Toyota is because even in Japan it's a Lexus.

In Japan the Infiniti G35 is called Nissan Skyline 350GT. If you want to argue about it not being the "same" car because the ones in Japan have the steering wheel on the right side, then I wont.

I can't understand all the drama people make over rebadging a car to something it's called some where else.
