i got a question....i was thinking about puting a new exaust on my car and i thought of a crazy idea but ..i have a full 2001 chevy corvette exaust system laying around if i install any part of that what would the differance in sound and performance be ?.

 

It might be too large and the exhaust note might sound weird. I'd stick with a unit produced specifically for our car. It will sound better for sure.

I doubt it'll fit......There are twists, bends, and hangars needed all in the correct places. Let alone the right diameters, resonators and mufflers.
Sell the 'Vette exhaust and buy the proper one for your ride.

Just saw and heard a B & B performance exhaust and loved it compared to my Borla!

 

You might be able to use the Muffler section. I bought a Custom Flowmaster. The Muffler is a Series 90 That was designed for the last Camaro that was out. I And everyone that hears my exhaust Loves how it sounds. Try it you might like it........... I Like the fact that It's unique. Not anyone can just Buy it off the shelf and bolt it on.......

nothing is wrong with the stock exaust i love the tone but i wanna get a lil more muscle out of my car and i wondered if the vette exaust might work
