Re: Twilight Blue

I live in Arizona and own a Twilight Blue coupe. It is a great color when you look at it especially with the willow interior. However, yes it is tough to keep clean, I find myself washing her every other week and I use my Cali car duster and a Kozak towel almost daily to keep the fine layer of dust off her. The rear bumper acts almost like a magnet for dust and my wife thinks I am obtaining a compulsive disorder, I wipe it down before leaving a parking lot when we are out to dinner or a store, but hey... I dont want someone behind me looking at a dusty bumper, it's almost like going out with dirty underware on. Although it is tough to keep clean, I would get the Twilight Blue again without hesitation. I have a car that looks black in shadows and at night, and blue in the sun. I love the look.

Peace

Re: Twilight Blue

Wow, sounds almost as hard to keep as black. At least its a metallic color, not as bad as pure black. =)

I don't see how ppl get spider webs on their car tho...

Black / Black 2004 GcoupeMT. Premium. Splash Guardz.

Re: Twilight Blue

The color has the exact same issues as the black; spider-webbing, shows scratches, dusty 10 minutes after washing, etc.

I'm currently having my home landscaped so I can't get in my garage. My car has been sitting outside for a month so it's been impossible to keep the car looking decent. I can't do my morning wipe-downs (too much dew on the car) and I can't put a car cover over it (dirt would causes scratches). Car doesn't look so great if you're not going to be able to give it DAILY maintenance.

It's a nice color but if I could do it over again I probably would have gone with my second choice which is Ivory Pearl... It's just as nice a color but hides imperfections better.

Re: Twilight Blue

Ya it's tough to stick out even with a G in vegas, especially when you can rent ferraris and porshes right on the strip.

Re: Twilight Blue

Thank you T_Bull,

I have 25% on her, didnt want to go "too" dark on her, I think limo tint is too dark and makes it tough to see out the back window at night. The rear small panels and back window are just a shade lighter than the fronts.

Re: Twilight Blue

oh, and yes it is Willow interior, on a darker car I believe willow interior is the only way to go. No I don't use Zaino....I use Zymol on her.
