We all know that the seat belt on the G35 sucks...this thread isn't about the seat belt cutting into your neck.

On the 05, there is an adjuster that lowers down to allow people into the rear seats. When fully up, this adjustor rubs on the top portion of the seat. (there is a plastic part that moves slightly towards the front) The sound is driving me CRAZY!!! Does anyone have a solution (besides lowering the seat). Can I remove this part somehow? It actually leaves an indent in the seat where it rubs which cant be good. I assume this is why they changed the design in 06...Please help!

i have my seats all the way back and seats tilted back so theres enough room where the belt dont hit the door when driving and no indents in the seat, also i am 6'1" and dont have the seatbelt problem around my neck, guess im luck

I have the same problem, tommorrow im headed to the hardware store to buy those little felt pads that you can put under heavy electronics etc so you dont scratch a table. there stick on one side and have felt on the other. that will stop the plastic on leather sqeeks...

win, what a terrific idea! Are you going to put the felt on the seat belt part, or the seat part? I don't think the leather would hold...let us know!

Id rather not stick it to the leather but the seat belt extender is not flat or large enough to stick the pad on. I'll let you know how it turns out
