Vents Off but Random burst of hot air????
Hey all, I have the exact same problem as this guy
https://g35driver.com/forums/showthr...highlight=heat
but i'm not as "vocal" as he is i guess,
anyone found a solution to this?
Basically even when i turn vents off or switch it to blow out of the front window only, theres always hot air still randomly comming out of the leg area, it's quite annoying, as your driving and you can slowly feel hot air blowing into your face...
anyone have any success fixing this themselves?
Lets be honest, no dealer is going to even bother with this complaint, they'll just give you some look and go

i started reading the link you posted but got bored after the first few f-bombs so i stopped reading it.
however, to address your problem, i recall a few years ago that someone posted that behind/under the battery box in the engine bay, the cabin air intake is located and that there is a large gap that allows this hot air you mention to be pulled in. people with the same problem as you were sealing up this gap to eliminate the hot air from coming in.
