I live in L.A, and don't regret getting a manual.

It's just so fun, even in traffic

I can't see myself getting anything else than a manual.

When you master the clutch in the G and its bad habits, you're going to enjoy driving it alot.

there's a $40 mod to decrease clutch travel as i understand. nothing you can do about the notchiness and the crappiness of 1st to 2nd shift though.

I was getting crappy, grinding 1st to 2nd shift at high RPM's, then I figured out that if I held the shifter with my thumb over the top (thus pulling the shifter left toward me when engaging 2nd), it engaged quite smoothly....Never grinded a gear again So I learned--the tranny gets more sensitive as the RPM's go up....

I regretted it when I first bought mine because I was a novice at driving stick shift. After getting the hang of it, I love it and am glad I went with it.

Actually, you can adjust the turnbuckle...that will get rid of clutch harshness...that in combination with changing clutch fluid to DOT4, will make you love your clutch!

I actually prefer manual for traffic because I can control my speed better and brake less compared to all the auto around me. Its also great to see the douche on his cell behind me slam on his brakes as a inch forward in first at a snail's pace

I drive on the Washington D.C. beltway everyday, and I also enjoy controlling my speed through engine braking. I've had manual transmission cars all 9 years I've been driving, and I wouldn't trade to an auto for anything.

Any sport coupe should have a manual transmission.
