I pay-- Insurence, gas, mods, rent, electric, water, cable, etc. and I bought my car from my parents a year ago at dealer appraised value to shut little ****** like you up. (worked out to be like 25,000)
I've got a great job-- and I go to school part time for business (oh yeah I pay that too)... You just have to know how to make money, we are the same age-- there is no reason you should be complaining about not having enough money-- Because if you wanted it, you could get it-- but you have to sacrofice the party life style.
None of that matters anyway-- If you picked 6MT, I personally think that you made the wrong choice if you plan on going boost.

That is by far the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. 6MT and boost the wrong choice? LOL. I wonder why the STi only comes in MT. I wonder why the Evo only comes in MT. I wonder why the SRT4 only comes in MT. I might even just quote your statement. An MT will always make more power than an automatic. An MT with good driving skills, will always launch faster than an automatic ( insanely high horsepowered dedicated drag and Supra excluded). Whatever you've been smoking, pass that sh*t son, I want to get as retarded as you!
Ask anyone who knows what they are talking about-- big power = AT
I paid 1500 for my rims and tires-- and they really make the car...
This thread should really be closed, its just chilibowl making a fool of himself.

If a 6MT driver cannot take the power of, lets say, 350 to 450 rwhp, then maybe he just has alot to learn; traction from all that torque is a bigger issue than shifting a car with moderate power.
Anyway, getting a 6MT isn't about being "faster"... it's all about having fun & throwing the shifter into gear. If AT is your thing, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. But if you got an AT because you believe its more conveniant for "big boost", then perhaps you really didn't look into the 6MT to begin with.

. Any proper 6MT driver can keep up with the AT assuming they are both modified to have 355 rwhp in the same manner. If not, then the 6MT driver needs practice. But like I said, getting a 6MT has nothing to do with speed.
You keep on bringing power into concern; its not like if most people are planning on building a dedicated drag car with so much power, that an AT is required. And by "so much power", im talking about 600+ rear whp.
Cliff note? The 6MT vs AT "debate" should have nothing to do with speed & power unless you're building so much power, than its physically impossible to shift as quickly as the car accelerates; but that's hardly ever an issue unless you're one of those 9 or 10 second drag cars.
AT & MT is all about personal preference & priorities; there isn't any "wrong" or "right" choice.
As for me, its obvious... I love having my left foot & right hand in use. Throwing the shifter into gears & toying with the clutch was just to tempting for me
It's sad how AT vs MT always end up down the hole. If people just understood that everyone has different priorities, non of this bashing would happen.

I doubt this has anything to do with power. You can't just boost a car in hopes of having the same feeling you get from an MT
Sorry to break the moment, but 355 rwhp is very far away from "big boost"; that's the type of power a typical turbo setup makes out-of-the-box for the VQ35

G35C is my first manual car, I thought I would have killed the clutch by the 2nd year, but 5 years later it's still going strong.
I didn't know the G manual was hard to learn until I drove other cars and compared. The notchiness and high clutch engagement point definitely makes this transmission harder to get used to than other manual trannies.
I have gotten used to rev match both upshift and downshifts on the car since it seems to be the only way to get a smooth shift. (on upshifts I would wait for the rev to fall before disengaging the clutch, especially for 1-2, 2-3 shifts)
Having had the car in downtown Boston and LA traffic - I still don't regret for a day that I got a manual.

I love these rims, I couldn't really give to squirts of **** if you thought they were the best.
Trust me, I know 355 isn't big power lol... But for what I'm planning on using my car with-- I'm really glad I have an Auto.
I don't get people who come up to my car and say, AWW its not a stick... Like this one guy back in my ccity days in the roadshop-- Swore his kia was a better car because it was a stick...
He also bought a 3,000 Body kit for it from korea, I didn't get that either.
What ever I'm done-- And chilibowl is having to resort to 'insulting' my rims lol
