go with manual man...just look @ the 5 pages...nobody regrets it. I was in the same boat..I had learned to drive stick about 3 years ago and then never drove a stick car after that unti the day I test drove the g. Make a long story short, the salesman was just looking @ me when I was test driving it and asking me if I was sure I wanted a manual and I said yes. I stalled the car many times, couldn't shift right..etc. Well...now I'm used to the tranny and all and it's great driving a manual.

no regret on getting manual and wouldnt get any car without a manual. however, that doesn't mean i like the manual transmission made by nissan/infiniti.. it is down right crap. the transmission and clutch take up is just terrible compare to the competition such as honda and bmw..

hopefully the new G37 will be better.

You are obviously not educated very well in this subject

Get 355 to the wheel, then race me-- I'll win

Especially when I get my VB upgrade..

If you want to talk about *****, read your mod list outloud.

Don't hate.

Yeah, even though the tranny isnt as smooth as others i've driven, i still wouldnt get an auto till im really old or automatics get so good that they just own manuals. so since performance is similar, i enjoy driving the manual more.

Dude, I'm glad you asked that question!!!!! I'm 30 years old and I've been driving stick shift since I was 16. I'm from South America and the majority of cars are manual. Anyway, I love my G, I love the looks of it... but DAMN!!!! It's been the worst stick shift car I have ever driven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I would have gotten an automatic if I knew the manual transmission for the G sucked like that!

6MT Coupe
Test drove a 5AT coupe...very nice...not bad at all.
Test drove a 6mt coupe...thats the one I bought and have never regretted it ever.
The coupe imo was meant to be a 6mt, just need to adapt some to its characteristics like with any other manual.
No problems with shifting mine except when its winter and gearbox stone cold...yeah 1-2 is a bitch for about a mile till it warms up, then its a piece of cake. No big deal.

you won't regret it, it is really easy to drive, the clutch has a lot of dead space but thats my only complaint.

Most people on these boards regrets getting an auto
