G-coupe + Bro buying 02' S2000

Hey guys, it has been 6 months now since the day that I've purchase our awesome G-coupe and by all means, it's absolutely awesome. My big bro is going to purchase a pre-owned 2002 S2000 first thing tomorrow morning with 18K miles on it asking for $25K but since the sales manager is my high school friend, he will hook my brother up for $23K plus fees. What do you guys think ? I have check the wholesale blue book and it is currently listed at $22K for trade-in's. So I guess they will be making over a grand from us. Oh, well, I guess thats business. I kind of fell bad because my brother really likes my G-coupe but really did not want to buy the same thing that I have. He says it would just feel weird because we both work at the same place and would be parking right next to each other.

I do have 1 question to ask, ( off subject ) I know the S2000 have a red button to start the car but what happens if the car stalls, do I simply step on the clutch and put the gear in-to neutral and push the red button again or do I have to re-engage the key and then push the red button again? I just want to be prepare tomorrow morning when I go over to the dealership to test drive for my big bro, since believe it or not he has never driven stick. Well, sorry for the long post.

I will try to post picture soon.

Peace, and happy motoring.

Nice, your gonna love the S2k, I mean your brother is gonna love it. Yeah you just push the clutch in and hit the start button again. The S is a screamer man have fun teaching you bro to drive it. Oh yeah and just for Sh*ts and giggles take the cover off of the air box and go for a WOT run. It makes a pretty Sick sound. I dont hink there are any Hp gains to get from it since it lets a lot of hot air in but it sure sounds sick. The S has a cone air filter so it's ok to do. Any way good luck with it, have fun, and let us know who wins a street race.

Re: G-coupe + Bro buying 02' S2000

the actual trade in value might be less, therefore the profit for dealer more.

at two diff nissan dealers, when i went to trade in my pickup to buy my daily driver, neither used kelleys or what edmunds said, both used calvers, which was much lower.

04 6mtC, DG - possibly most babied G on the board.

even after you start with the button your key will always be in the ignition...you just press the button again.
