Re: warranty issues

I am worried about taking my car to the dealer also. I have to go to the dealer next week for an oil change and I am thinking about taking off my popcharger. They already said that if I have any mods on my engine that they would void my warranty.

Re: warranty issues

I don't know. I think it's more easier said than done... if you show up to a dealer and have a pop charger or other modification..they may go ahead and void your warranty until you file legal suite against them...which no one wants to spend their time doing

Then you'd have to legally prove that your mod wasn't the cause of the problem... by then you'd be spending time and money doing this which would just be a pain...

then again i could be totally wrong and the dealer could honor the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act and give you service until your mod really does cause the problem..

HAS ANYONE ALREADY TAKEN THEIR CAR IN FOR WARRANTY OR REGULAR MAINTENANCE WITH MODS ALREADY INSTALLED? (AND NOT GOTTEN ANY HASSLE FROM THEIR DEALERSHIP)

Yestreday, took the coupe in for 7500 mile check up. Have the stillen intake, 'z' tube, and gialla grille.. Nothing was said. In fact, they sell the stillen equip.. Cat back exhaust, intake etc...

Re: warranty issues

if we buy stuff like intakes and such from the dealer and they install it, would our warranties be safe?
