I wouldnt recommend driving the coupe in the winter. If you go with good winter tires on your oem 18's your talking anywhere from $600-800+ for tires. And you still have your nice car on the road, it doesnt matter how well your car handles or how well you drive in the snow, most of the time its another car doing the "oops" and causing your damage. Because of this i just invested $1500 in a winter beater, pick up an older blazer and save your coupe's miles, this way you dont have to worry about that random old lady thinking her '88 camry is a 4x4

I don't have a single bit of advice on driving a G in the snow, hell I don't even like to drive her in the rain.

Now even my dodge ram is a bit€h in the snow, it does not help that I run 305/55/20 kumho summer performance rubber.

It all comes to tires.

whenever you see 2+" snow or blackiced on street.....stay at home even if u have snow tires ^

ONe thing I dont get is they could have come up with a better window designe, because your coupe windows dont drop down when they are frozen..

no, no, and no. Last year I was driving slow on an icy road. While attempting to change lanes I ended up doing a 180 in the middle of a 4 lane highway.

I've driven my G through a couple winters now. I even drove in some BAD snow storms as well. No problems at all.

It's all about the snow tires. You people who are driving on summer tires and saying 'no no no you can't drive a G in the winter' need to educate yourself on winter tires fast, because you are heading straight towards an accident.

For the record I had 17" Blizzak LM-22's mounted on ASA JH3's

I just drove through our first snow this season and we are expecting at leaset 10 inches Saturday w/ an icy mix in the morning lol. So far, I'm going to have to rate this car stable and secure, but I do have Blizzak LM-22's (225 fronts, 235 rears). This is with Blizzaks with less than 50 miles on each of them (I just 'heard' somewhere that tires need a certain amount of mileage to break in, take this as a grain of salt) I can't imagine how much better Blizzak WS-50/WS-60's are, I'm going to have to try them out next winter . I could accelerate, brake and steer with the best of them and the car never hinted of tail wag until I had some fun in an empty parking lot with VDC off

Im going tomorrow to get winter tires... or Im pulling my Cadillac out of the garage...

g35 in the winter is a big no no, with tires some pull it off, but anything over 6 inches your *** is stuck no matter what.

Ivest in a beater / daily driver.

I have a 96 civic ex ,cheap, awsome on gas and good in the snow.

i cant afford winter tires so im stuck with my high performance tires for the winter..oh boy do i fishtail like crazy!

Its time like these here in Cleveland that make me wish I would have purchased the FX SUV...

I'd recommend looking for a used set either on the forum here, craigslist, etc. It is well worth the money to be a lot safer for everyong. Going out on summer tires in the winter is literally an accident waiting to happen - the compounds and tread of tires like that are basically as good as a hockey puck sliding on ice. Be careful out there.

I have Blizzaks on my G, and I think driving it in the snow can be fun. VDC plus snow tires won't let me fishtail (though sometimes I wish it would just a little bit ). Drove through our Chicago snowstorm this past weekend and the G didn't lose it's composure at all.
