rattling...

Can someone describe the type of rattling of our G.

I think i experience a little bit of rattle, just wanna confirm it's nothing serious.

Let's say i am going 2 mph, and add gas all of the sudden to 15 mph, I hear a little sound from my rear end, sounds like a thin metal pan that's blown by wind..

same happens when I put on reverse.

Appreciate any advise.

I couldn't give you any info on your scenario but I have so many rattles that all together they form an entire orchestra of sounds that change from day to day.

I bought some foam tape and used it where any plastic panels meet. Most rattles went away...though most were only when the sub was loud.

Hm if its the same problem I had, I think youre referring to the axle clicking problem. research it on here, or take it to your dealer. they basically have to take apart your axle and lube it. should be under warranty. if it isn't it should cost ~$200

Ratttling & Noises........

I don't have any noises or rattles I don't know how to fix! Example the seat
belt guide if it isn't in the upright position the seat belt rattles against the
inside of the door....easy fix.

I think he's referring to an external rattle coming from underneath the car. I actually noticed the same thing he's describing and I don't think it's the same as rear axle clicking. I only hear it going in a narrow street with the sound echoing off of the parked cars, and it happens when I cruise at low speeds with the foot off the gas and suddenly add lots of gas, thats when I hear a low rattle for a second. I don't know what it is and I forgot to tell the dealer to look into it. It seems as it's coming from an exhaust part. I'll tell the dealer next time they'll be changing my oil.

i get the same noise when i accelerate in low rpms. sounds like metal vibrating from underneath the car. sometimes the noise is embarassing. my 95 dodge neon used to have this sound but it's a neon.

what bothers me also is when i'm idle and in neutral..i hear this rattling from underneath the car that i suspect that has something to do with the clutch. when i disengage the clutch, it goes away. let go of the clutch, it comes back. let it rattle for about 5-10 mins and it eventually goes away. what is this?!
