Where to start
Where to start
Well I finally have enough funds put together to really start modding my 05' coupe and figured I would see where the community thinks I should start.

Depends on how much you have to spend, but you can't go wrong with a spacer, z-tube, intake or catback exhaust. I would never put expensive audio/video equipment in a car unless I lived in a real low crime rural area or the car was a weekend toy and not a DD, and you have a garage!
i voted Performance Parts
MD 5/16 Spacer, Stillen/z-tube, Exhaust, and pullys. not to much hp gain but you will feel it. if you want crazy performance i say Vortech supercharger (spelling?)

NM on the HKS SC found a thread on that.
As for my budget, I have a little over 5K. So I can play with quite a bit.
I do like the idea of going with a supercharger, but I think I will wait to see what HKS comes out with. So I don't really want to put to much performace parts on there and then have to sell them 6 months down the road.
So I am leaning more towards body kit and audio for now but if HKS finally drops a FI kit for the G things may change.

You don't need performance parts until you know how to drive your car....like really drive it, not just put around on the street. Take it to the track (not drag...) and see how it handles stock, then figure out what you want to change. Don't change things until you know what needs to be changed (hint, power is not the first thing to change).

i voted for bodykit/rims but i'm pretty 50/50 between that and performance. whatever you do, don't go with audio first. i did that first and now i regret it and wonder what i could've gotten instead with that $2000............... ****. i'm getting upset thinking about it.
