I'm thinking of getting a beater since even though the coupe is more practical than like a 350z, i might need another for room plus possible snow day alternative, so just curious how the other coupe drivers are in this category, what position their car is.

I say it like this... there are a few cars that wouldnt be good as a daily driver or snow car...
Those are actual sports cars with 2 actual seats more than 350HP, & RWD & most dont usually have traction control (some do), or all season tires.
My I by cars to drive. I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I plan to drive my G daily, snow & all.
I look at it like this, some people buy trucks to haul **** or the like them, same thing with an SUV for the kids & junk.
My I have no kids, dont need to haul around a lot of stuff, like something sport, quick, good for ins. I dont need a Camaro, or Mustang those are are decent cars & can be daily drivers, just I dont think they have the traction control.

nice weather: 05 GCoupe
bad weather: 1980 Volvo 242.
OEM 15" turbo mags
Lowered.550psicarreras.
bilsteins.ipdbars.GTstrutowerbraces
euro spec headlights (australia)
removed Power steering
removed A/C
2.1 OHC FI
adjustable camshaft timing gear
Kgrind overhead cam
Ram Air
4wheeldiscs (stops better than the G')
I know you guys probably think old volvos are gay, but you can do a lot to em. They are balanced very well. The turbo model of my car can easily produce over 300 HP. Good for V8 Conversions too. Interested in more...
