Athens blue G'z w/o tint!
Wondering if I can make a proposition to any in the southern cali area w/Athens Blue G'z. My dilemma: I got a fix it ticket (window tint) and I don't want to take off my tint, so my idea was to borrow your car (of course w/you driving me) and go to the CHP headquarters by the Staples Center in Los Angeles and I will pretend that my tint is off since they will see your car w/o tint and then they sign off on my ticket. I will give some type of monetary value. If you're down, please PM me. My ticket is due on the November 19, but I can get an extension if needed. I know it's asking a lot, but I don't want the hassle of taking my existing tint off, then having to put it back on once the ticket is signed off. This is my first ticket for my tint in 2 years Thanks again in advance and hope to just hear from one of you.

I don't think so because I had to get another fix it ticket signed off and I went to the same CHP site and all they did was just look at my car from the office then just put there stamp on the ticket. They seemed pretty lazy there, so I kind of taking a gamble with it. But I'm willing to even take off my license plate and put it on the other car.

you are gonna have to bite the bullet. chances are they wont check the vin but when they see u took the tint off all the windows they might get suspicious. you and someone else would face a stiff penalty.

Just remove the tint, get it signed off, and head back to the tint shop and get a lighter grade. It is legal to have tint on the front windows in CA, just has to be pretty light. Search for the legal limit. The tint shop you had it done at probably won't even charge for the removal.
I'm sorry, but anyone that's willing to partake in this scheme would be a sucker. I wouldn't even do something like this for my brother, let alone someone one an internet forum. Your avatar says it best.
