Finally Got A New Windsheild.

Had a chip in the windsheild since the day I purchased they car. Dealer fixed the chip. Well this winter the chip turned into a crack. Called dealer, said it was nothing they could do... Great.

Called INS said it would be my $500 deductible... I said no thanks...

Call Triumph/Diamond Auto Glass, they got it done for me at $175 OTD....

So I guess I will see if I have any problems or not..

Windshields aren't that expensive...Safelite is $220 OTD. Wait a couple of days to let the seals settle in and test it by washing your car. If it leaks, take it back asap.

Have anyone else who has gotten there windsheild replaced had any problems or problems w/leakage...

It has been raining all day!!! I mean all day.

They brought the car inside the garage, removed my windsheild, along w/my side moldings (they said they had to do it), put my new one in & w/in an hour & a half I was on my.

Been driving/sitting in the rain all day & no problems once so ever yet...

Wonder how the seals could have cured so quickly, at any rate Im just glad that it has been raining all day & I dont have any leakage, but only time will tell.

the side moldings were fine, they reused them, the tech told me it just depends if the rip or tear when they are pulling them off. they replaced the upper seal with a different one, its more rounded, but fits fine. Mine was done by safelite, for $227 with tax.
