Future owner question..

I've been debating on what to get as my next car and my gf and i have both had our eye on the g35 coupe... so i have a few questions before i go shopping

1) i ONLY want the pearl white.. what is the 'official' name for it? what years was it produced? i ONLY want a black interior... it seems that white/tan are common but white/black aren't... is it just my luck in looking or is that really the trend?

2) what years were navigation available stock?

3) how bad is the auto transmission? is it a real slushbox for a daily driver type car or will it be sufficient?

4) what various headlight types were available? HID only?

5) anything in particular to look at when looking at used models?

Thanks

(i'm a bit of a wrench turner.. so feel free to be technical)

first of all, you shouldnt be looking at any other car... i will answer as much as i know

1) its called ivory pearl, if im not mistaken, it was produced every year, when i was looking for a g, i didnt see too many IP on black g's

2) every year was available

3) i drive an auto, and i dont think you will be disappointed at all

4) they were all xenon, (i think thats what youre asking), but in the year 06, they were projector headlights

5) the interior changes between the years 04 and 05

6) get the g35

7) right now

8) im not joking

9) now

thanks... a lot of online ads say white and it's hard to see in pics sometimes...

i've been looking and it looks like i should do fine with a 20k budget, so long as i can find the color combo i want

i jsut remembered my gf's friend has one so i'll go drive hers before i go seriously shopping

i dunno about THAT... my car history and driving experience is pretty great... i'm just not ready to drop more than about 20k on the next ride as i'll be buying a house and a 'ring' in the next year...

thanks so i'm looking at either an 03 or 04 as i'm dead set on black (i had various colors since my last black and always missed black, despite being in tx)

can the 06/07 lights be put on the 03-05? i prefer teh quality of a projector light (once you have em you understand!)
