Navigation saying I only get 12.9mpg?

Anyone know how accurate the Navigation (infiniti)'s "Fuel Economy" option is? It says I am only getting 12.9 MPG.

I don't drive crazy. I live in Socal.... not too crazy anyway, once in awhile I push the gas down alot to make a light or w/e, but not too often.

I use 91 gas.

Anyone?

You can do the math and find out how accurate is.

Divide number of miles driven by number of gallons ypu put in, in other words: Miles/Gallons aka MPG.

you're filling up every Sunday? I used to pump gas every 4-5 days and I always got 19-22 mpg.. are you sure you're not flooring it at every stop light? lol

Mine is almost dead on accurate. It's easy enough to do the math when you fill up.. might as well do that on your car and determine if yours is as accurate as it should be. Maybe there's something screwed up in your car for some reason.... or perhaps you've upgraded to much larger tires/rims?

I usually get between 22-23.7 MPG... lowest I've ever gotten was 19.5 MPG on one tank where I did a coolant flush that involved me sitting in the driveway revving the engine for a few minutes at a time(probably like 20 minutes total between all the flushes) to purge the air from the system.

Wierd I drive fast and I get about 18 when I do. I average almost exactly 20. Your nav may be off or something, or you just get terrible mileage. Do a mileage average next time. Puch the button on the guages and record your miles from when you next fill up. Then average it yourself and youll see how bad it really is!

13 mpg??? That doesn't sound right. I drive daily in crazy chicago traffic and I'm almost always around 18.1.
