Today, I brought my coupe to the dealer to take care of ITB07-030 and seatbelt issue. I was given a 2008 sedan as a loaner. Well, I have to confess I liked it much more than I expected.

My favorite feature is DS mode of transmission. I wish my coupe had it. This thing seems to be done right. I especially liked that it does not upshift immediately after I stop accelerating. I wish I had it on my coupe...

I also liked the status display with a bunch of information that can be shown there. My only gripe is that it does not have full UTF8 font loaded. It only has Latin (English) subset, which most of the drivers in the US would not even notice

It took a while to get acquainted to the controls of the stereo. In particular, it took me quite some time to realize that they flipped the PREV/NEXT Track switch...

Also, I'd say I'm not feeling the new dashboard. I like instrumentation of my coupe better.

 

you'll noticed when you go downhill, it will downshift a gear or two for engine braking or hold a gear around a corner. I like how click-click the shiftr feels too, very solid, like a well defined and well oiled manual transmission shifter.
