ok the switch to opening my trunk inside the car wont work i keep trying to press the open trunk switch and it wont open my trunk is there a fuse to that switch or anything I could do to resolve this problem?

 

open your glove box and make sure the trunk switch is flipped on. it's a security measure to switch it off and be able to lock the glove box so they'll either need:

1) a key to open the glove box and enable the switch or
2) a fob to use the trunk button.

If that doesn't work than it is your harness in the trunk. I had to replace mine and it wasn't cheap.

 

was your car under warranty? because if you have warranty the dealer will fix it for free

 

ic ic im gonna have to check if it is still under warranty

 

this happened to me once..but it was snowing/freezing rain..so i guess it froze the trunk switch and wouldnt open..but i tried to open my trunk the next day and it opened..

 

what do you mean when you say "fob" not to mention i just checked that switch and it doesnt seem to work

 

fob mean the unlock/lock/trunk remote

 

and approx how much did you pay to get it fixed?
