That car is Jason's from PerformanceNissan in Duarte. I rode in that beast and it's an amazing ride. Nice hood but I'd like optional internal covers for when it rains.

2 G or NOT 2 G, there is no question!

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

Did he get that hood custom made or is there a company that I can contact for information on that hood for a Coupe?

PimpinPearl,

That carbon fiber hood and wing on the red coupe is regular black carbon, but they spray candy red clear coat on top of it. I believe that are Carbon Creations/Extreme Dimensions parts.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

Ok over the weekend I saw a 350z with carbon fiber over the black area where the mirror is. Only thing is that with the carbon fober laid over it it looked not so good. If you could make the side view mirror bracket in carbon fiber it would fit the G and Z and it look nice.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

thanks for all your great ideas.
we will be looking at the G35 Coupe closely this weekend to see what can be made in CF.
here's some samples of the work we've done:

That’s custom side skirt made by Extreme Dimensions. You can contact them or wickedik one of G35 driver member. I was told by Steve a.k.a wickedik that the bodykits on the red G are their concept bodykits.

Hi custom: The guy from carbon-werks, suck. They was to make the engine covers and I was going to sale them in N.Y. for them. It's about a year and still no sample and no reply by phone or e-mail. thumbs down on these guys.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

hey roseg35,
i'm really sorry to hear that. that's all news to me. fyi, we recently acquired the carbon werks manufacturing plant from them and weren't told about outstanding GB issues when we did our due diligence. we manufactured the items on their website and i posted that link to show you guys a sample of our workmanship but we're not affliated with them outside of that.
btw, do you remember who you dealt with?

i can assure you guys that won't happen again. i'm the Director of Internet Sales and i report directly to the big boss man of our company, and since we usually deal directly with end-users such as yourself, it would not be prudent to shoot ourselves in the foot w/ a poorly executed GB like that other guy.

so on that note...
in moving forward towards our first custom part for you guys, we'll be meeting with one of the local members from here this saturday to assess what project to move on first.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

Allan,

Great. I'm glad you're still interested. Please excuse Evan for not being able to get intouch with you earlier, we were busy trying to develope your engine cover without using your core.

Thankfully, Evan found a way, which I think will benifit both you and Evan.

Anyway, no, there will not be any problems with heat. The materials used are high temperatures resistant.... including the epoxi chemical. You dont have to worry about fadding, or anything else related to heat problems.

As for the pictures, sure. We'll be more than glad to send you pictures as soon as the product is done. The ETA is expected for 8/22/03.

Thanks again.

Tony

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?

thanks for the info. not sure who those guys are but let me reassure you that we don't operate like that. if something can't be made, we will tell you the truth. if we're running behing schedule, we will tell you.

a member just pointed me to a thread discussing m3 type spoiler lips. i saw that the impul ones sell for over $500, and the ebay ones are cheap and need some modification to fit the G35 sedan.
would you be interested in a CF version made for both the coupe and the sedan?
