Do you need custom CF parts?
Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
I can't believe this has only been mentioned by one person so far - a carbon fiber dash kit! Of course, I mean one that would replace the plastic, not "stick-on".
I think one of the most common complaints people have about the G35 is the cheap quality of the plastic interior and how easily it scratches (which is particularly a problem for those with the titanium finish).
There's a number of kits available that are "stick-on", but I'm not aware of any that actually replace the existing plastic pieces. There are numerous posts about this on this site and also on other G35 forums (freshalloy.com, 6MT.net), so even though a lot of the replies in this thread have been about hoods and spoilers, I think there's definitely a market for it.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
hey guys,
thanks for all your useful input.
at this point, we are going to seriously consider fabricating a spoiler and engine cover as a starter project for the G35. and we are still looking for ideas on a vented reverse scoop hood.
which spoiler would you guys like to see among the four below:
1. Impul style spoiler lip (just over the trunk, not 3 pieces):

2. Nismo style wing like this:

3. Ings+1 trunk spoiler like this:

(we're not affiliated w/ Bulletproof)
4. gialla style spoiler:

(we're not affiliated w/ Bulletproof)
to my knowledge, these wing are only available via special order from japan... right?

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
I would really like to see a Carbon Fiber OEM style front lip spoiler. It's a simple design, and I saw a few other members request the same.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
I would be down to buy a Ac Schnitzer or Hamann M3 type looking front lip spoiler for the Sedan with Aero kit, it will save me money for when I bottom out I wont have to repaint my front bumper and it looks good also, Something like this, it is the Hamann lip, much cleaner than the AC

and here is the AC Schnitzer front lip
Let us know, iLLG
Wat'ssss Realllyyyy Goooodddd!!!!!

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
I would buy a C/F Nismo Front Bumper. The only thing that was holding me back was the fiberglass material it is made out of.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
Just to clarify this for everybody, the Nismo front bumper is a one piece bumper that is painted in two tone. It is not a bumper and a lip in separate pieces. It seems like a lot of people are confused about this.

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
You know what.. You should really use the POLL function of this forum.... to vote for CF hood, spoiler, front lips, dash board, whatever, u know~
Personally I am interested in underbody spoiler 4 pieces and trims.. maybe grills or hood but depending on how much u are charging though...

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
Id like to have a CF radiator/grille shroud(cover) like the z has..... its basically a plate that covers the gaps around the radiator and the grille, making for a much smoother and cleaner look

Re: Do you need custom CF parts?
I was just thinking about how much I need a carbon fiber Gilia grill to match! Seriously! I'm seeing at least 4 others here who are interested. It would be a great niche to fill!
A carbon fiber front lip spoiler (something simple like the Top Secret piece for the 350Z) would be great too!! I'm sure that's in the works for you.
I've seen only one CF OEM style rear spoiler available. There are a lot of trunk lip spoilers one the market, of course not all of them being available in CF. Still, that's a lot of competition in the trunk lip spoiler arena.
I'd be likely to buy a CF engine cover as well... ...eventually.
Future G35C Owner... ...Never too soon to think about modifications!!
