Not an option from the factory. It must have been an aftermarket paint job.

I was hoping to do the same color, but people on the board scared me off by quoting me price ranges for a clean job.

That is awesome! I wanted to get the Daytona Blue really bad when I got my coupe. I asked the dealership and they said it couldn't be done unless you had it painted after you bought it.

Re: saw a new Daytona Blue G

OMG man I cant believe this. A month ago I went to a car meet and this guy in a Ferrari pulls up and points to my car and says thats the best car here. I was like WTF all these Ferarris and Porsches here and my car is the best? So I start talking to him and he says he is Morrie Sage the owner of Morrie Sages Glendale Infiniti. He said he had a daytona blue coupe and I thought he was bullshitting me. But this confirmes it. Damn its a small world after all. LOL

Re: saw a new Daytona Blue G

Being owner of an Infiniti dealer, he probably have the connection to get a good paint job relatively cheap. Or is it even possible that he can get a special custom factory paint job?
BTW, I still think Twilight blue looks better on a G35 coupe than Daytona Blue, I won't even pick that color if I were to buy a 350Z.

I would love to have a DB g35c! Aren't the 350z and G painted and built side by side? Could be a mixup? or a dealer pulling some strings?

Most likely with connection he had it "factory" painted DB before they brought it over to the states. Forget the color haha, he said he saw the car at school.... Damn, how old is this guy? Going to school while running a dealership... skills!

Re: saw a new Daytona Blue G

Most likely....if the guy owns a dealership and is driving around in a Ferrari then he could afford a 10k paint job.

He also said that him and his partner are going to buy a fleet of track package Z's and let ppl rent them for a whole track day. Tires, fuel, safety equipment, insurance etc... is on them and you just pay for the car. I asked him how much and he said in the 2-$4000 range. I thought that was ridiculous.
