yeah its normal. i have a stage two clutch and mine sounds real loud when i turn it off

the z and the g35 are the only cars ive driven that the shift **** shakes aswell .. weird! Damn loud trannys

You can't definitely call it a bad throwout bearing without inspection and I doubt it is this because every 6MT G35 and 350Z I know of does this to some extent unless you hold the clutch down.

I didn't say it was bad or going bad just that it was normal for our 6MTs to do this without the clutch depressed. ....Sheesh.

I have an engine rattle on start up, not shut down.. Weird.

I'm just playing, no worries... But yes, unfortunately, this is normal for G35's and 350 Z's with 6MT... I've gotten used to it and I have 84K now with no problems, I just always hold clutch down when shutting engine down.

Engine rattle for like 2 seconds when cold? Try royal purple synthetic, it will cure that.
