So just kinda throwing it out there. Has anybody thought about taking their RAS system out. Not sure how useful it really is. Might be a dumb idea just wanted to ask. Or would it mess with something else on the car

 

To remove it you probably have to swap out the rear subframe. More trouble that its worth to swap. What troubles are you having with it exactly?

 

Actually none really except it seems to restrict what mods you can do. If it involves different subframe really not worth it. Didn't even know about this feature when I bought the car. Dealer never mentioned it.

 

how do i know if my 06 has RAS? I can see it on the gauge where if it lite up I could see it but is not lit up...Does this mean anything or is the gauge the same on all 06+

 

no light, no RAS!

 

Mine is not lit up though....but I can see it if i look closely into the tachometer.

 

I know this for a fact, when you start your car up, if the RAS light does not turn on, you DO NOT HAVE RAS!

Even if there is a RAS on the cluster. Ghessh, even SNOW is on my g35 coupe cluster.

 

What exacly is the problem with your RAS? Is it really bad enough to want it removed?

 

he probally cant get the exhaust that he wants or something like that
