Ok this is a completely noob question but from the looks of it,

is the faster you drive the better your mpg?

It's approximately 380 miles from Fremont to Woodland Hills and I still have a quarter of a tank left over on my G. And that's when I take Hwy 101.

04 G35 6MT, I recently drove from Boston to New Orleans and found that I never got 400 miles per tank. 75-80 mph 100% highway. 1400 mile trip.

Yea somethings up.... if you look it up it states G35 gas tanks are 20 gallons, but when im on Empty, and the dial is below the E' line it only takes like 17gallons even or 17.1 to get it so there is no more to be put in.

My theory is that the e light could stay on for 3 more gallons more, as many car companies make sure that even though the E' light is on, you still have like 1-2 gallons left to go find a gas station and fill up.

I think ours is 3 gallons.

But regardless dividing my mileage by 17 gallons still only gets me 22 MPG. my buddy in his 330I get 25 and im jealous.
