yeah i got around 400 at with 1/4 tank left when i made a trip to michigan last summer, so if i ran it till empty i would have gotten 500+, just had z-tube and drop-in k&n, going bout 70-80mph,

normal daily driving going no higher than 60mph(very rare i go that fast, mostly city driving) i get bout 280-300 a tank

Damn 450 miles per tank is a killer........

I drive around 70% city and 30% highway, and I get around may be 300miles max, never used up the whole tank yet...jst bought the car couple of weeks ago.

Last time I filled up around 13-14 gallons, and I had 220 miles driven...

May be I rev it too much !!!!

hi again, my car specifications:

2003 AT 69Kms , before going for vacation, changed oil& air filters.put 100% synthetic oil and controlled and changed oil kinds of other oil and liquid parts.

the thing is when i was coming back i averaged 20km more than i have driven, there was significant change in consumtion but still close to 320-350miles.

if you really want to save on gas with manual transmission( i have driven manual all my life, funny thing this is my first ever AT car ) you should not go over 3000 rpm and try to use the cruise control a lot. but definitley takes the ambition and excitement away it's always a trade-off between performance and consumption.

p.s: try to change filters when you think the consumption is going up even you drive same..

I'm always around 300-320 a tank. That's with 65% highway, 35% city.

Gas Mileage

I average 25.5 mpg. 04 6mt. stillen intake and exhaust. 70% highway. 98K on the odo.

It's all about smoothness....I drive btn 75-80 on highway. Unless running hard, I do tend to skip 5th gear ramping up to highway speeds......

one thing to improve gas mileage is to change out the differential fluid to an aftermarket fluid....it is usually more protective and lighter hense freeing up mass and therefore taking less gas

I drive 90% city and usually get 20 MPG...usually fill up with I hit 340 on odometer.

When I did 80% hwy driving would usually get 24 - 26 MPG.

03 6MT.

when i went to vegas i avg. 29mpg. just got back from santa maria i avg. 24mpg.

i am guessing Santa Maria is up north and it was all up hill with a little traffic. Vegas was all flat land.

my daily driving i get about 315-340 a tank.

My 04 6MT used to get about 21~22mpg, but after I installed K&N Typhoon CAI it jumped to 24mpg regularly (50/50 driving).

When I moved to an 06 6MT, I was back down to about 21mpg.

Currently in my G37 6MT I get about 22mpg, but thats with 80% hwy driving with cruise control on at 75-80mph. But the first 5k miles I was averaging about 18mpg. My 04 was a hybrid compared to this thing...

I got 400 miles once when I drove straight from San Francisco to Orange County without stopping. A usual tank for me is 250 miles before light comes on. Guess its the 20" rims, heavy foot and manumatic mode that is making it so low. I used to get over 300 when it was newer and stock. I usually drive about 50/50.
