420 Mile a Tank
I drive 600 to 700 miles a week . 560 mile are hwy. I bought a k&n filter a few weeks ago and it helped 4 or 5 mpg otherwise I'm stock. I get 420-460 miles a tank with about 2 gallons left in tank all hwy . I usually am over 100mph on hwy too. City usually 80 mph + i get anywhere from 260 -340 a tank.
Cold air intake coming soon.

got an 06 6mt coupe with z tube
i suppose maybe tires matter too so i'm running 255/35/19s front and 275/35/19s rear
i drove from los angeles to vegas and almost half way back to los angeles with a total of 3 people in the car and a full trunk. cruise control on for about 75% of the time @ 80mph. there were times i punched it up to 140mph during the drive. got 453 miles. when i stopped to pump it filled up to 18.2 gal so there are more miles to be had.
check out my mpg
suck it toyota

Some things I noticed about my G(had it for 2 weeks)
It's an 04 6MT with 22k miles and a fresh air filter.
Whenever I fill up the needle barely reached the top notch on the gauge.
From the point when the low fuel light comes on to the being full takes around 15 gallons, I don't know if that's normal.
The fuel economy itself is OK but not great, I usually shift around 2.5k RPM and don't beat on it too hard. Last 2 tanks I got 19.5 miles per gallon driving a mix of 60% highway and 40% city.
I calculate fuel economy by dividing the number of miles I drove by the number of gallons I filled up.

i cleaned my dirty a$$ K&N and filled up the tank....drove from LA to Vegas, drove around vegas, and made it back to Barstow before i had to fill up again......
when the fuel light came on, i had driven 440 miles......but at fill up, i was only able to put 17.5 gallons of premium in....
not too bad on gas!!!!! i dont have any engine mods btw...just a K&N

Back up!
Question guys how long do you guys drive before the gas light comes on?
I had the E' light come on and i have 385 miles on the 17 gallons i put in which my car considered to be full.
With that said, is our tank really 20gallons? Are the remaining 3 the 'incase ****' happens gallons?
If so, how deep are you guys driving with the gas light on? I havent even hit 400 and the gas light is on.
2004 G coupe BTW.

One thing I always do once every 2 weeks is checking tire pressures and that's all...

75 or 80 mph up and down hills? That's pretty fast
If I wait for the light to come on I have over 400 miles a tank, usually don't wait that long though...
Worst tank mpg was 18.5 when I spent about 50 miles driving at an HST event. Averaged 8 mpg at the event and a lot of highway trying to bring the rest of the tank average back up!
