My gas light just when on so i filled it up i only got 45 liters in the car. That only converts to 11.7 gallons. then the gas pump clicks and i can't fill any more.
Is the problem still the sensor needs to be cleaned? then i will be able to put a full 20 gallons? since you said that a g35 coupe takes 20 gallons

There are some pictures here borrowed from DIY thread on fuel pump install, can you point where the q-tip'ing of the floaters go?

I 'm one of g35 owners group in Hong Kong. Most of our member have the same problem on these too. The solution is driving your car a short distance (less than 1mile) after u filling up 3/4, then you go back to gas station and now you can re-filling up to full tank. You will probably see the guage needle pointing to full. Try it, its really work.
