Should I go with Greddy Exhaust, B&B or Stillen
Should I go with Greddy Exhaust, B&B or Stillen
OK everyone. I am getting super antsy waiting for all of our performance parts to coem out for the Coupe so I am asking for some opinions. I know the B&B Exhaust is out for the Coupe and is an excellent system. But I also know that Stillen and Greddy are releasing Exhaust sytems within the next month. What does everyone think. Would it be dumb to get the B&B now and not wait for the Greddy and/or Stillen or does it not really matter that much. I personally feel that there will not be much of a difference between the three. They are all companies that have been doing this for a long time and know what they are doing. I am thinking that it becomes more of a personal preference thing between the 3 companies. What input do you guys have. Thanks a lot.

I don't like Greddy systems. Too ricey for my tastes. I haven't seen a Greddy system without a huge can on the back and the systems that I've heard don't even sound that loud either. Not that I want loud, but you think that it would be louder with a 6" can sticking off the back of the car.
I haven't seen the Stillen systems yet, so I can't comment. I do love the looks and sound of the B&B system. They have a great rep too. The system seems a little expensive though at the moment.

Um..........dude all i gotta say is just wait a little bit longer so you can get the real deal exhaust the infamous NISMO I suggest Nismo over any exhaust for the coupe.
Re: Should I go with Greddy Exhaust, B&B or Stillen
Well I have made some calls in regards to all three of the exhausts I mentioned and also the NISMO Weldina Exhaust. When comparing the hp number there is such slight variation that it isnt worth paying the extra 300-400 dollars for the NISMO. The B&B is putting out 8.2hp while the others are around like 8.3 or 8.5. That does not warrant a 300 dollar difference. As far as sound is concerned I want a meaty sound not a ricey sound. Most importantly I want performance at the right price and B&B seems to be the way to go.
Re: Should I go with Greddy Exhaust, B&B or Stillen
Don't think you will have a problem with the sound, 4 vs 6 cylinders, should be pretty deep. I would choose an exhaust based on future mods you want to do, the difference in HP on a normally aspirated "G" will not be that great.
Also factor into the decision how long you think it will last, stainless steel or not.

Well I placed my order for the B&B. It seems like the way to go. Thy are a reputable manufacturer who has done exhaust for luxury sport cars for years. The quality of their work is impeccable and I know the exhaust will last for a long time giving me top quality performance.

Anyone know the estimated cost of the Nismo system once it arrives?

Re: Should I go with Greddy Exhaust, B&B or Stillen
Actually I went through a local Long Island shop called WAM (World Auto Motorsports). They race on speedvision once in a while. He has a wholesaler who for the B&B actually had to get in touch directly with B&B. B7B is shipping it to my local guy in about 7 to 10 days. The intake is being shipped directly from Injen and should be here in about 3 days but could be 7 to 10 also. I got a package price for the two which including shipping to NY was a total of $1290. My import guy will install it all for about 120 bucks which isnt bad at all. These items should not affect warranty or long term performance in any way that I can see.
