rest coffee cup on car and sit on trunk
i take my coupe to my daughters soccer game yesterday. coach has us come early. so i take jacket out of trunk but leave fold out chair in. for whatever reason, i leave trunk open.
another parent comes by an we are talking. first about the car, then any topic. he is holding a cup of coffee. by his body movements, several times i see he is thinking of putting coffee on car. then, forgetting trunk is open starts moving to either sit on, or lean on car.
each time he sees trunk open so stops. otherwise, how do i tell him NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Next time avoid your car, OR punch him in the gut, he'll prob. drop the coffee and you don't have to worry about it anymore.
On a softer note, I sorry to here about you having....... oh never mind, I'll get in too much trouble by saying that!

I usually say: "Sorry, but you have to be related or nude to lean on my car". It gets the point across.
I've only allowed one other person to lean on my ride: She had such a pretty tush, I couldn't refuse. 'PrettyPrincez' was the lucky gal at one of our meets in Toronto.

I've told a friend of mine, 240lbs 5'7 big Buddah character, straight up "Sorry, don't sit in my car because you're going to mess up the side parts of my leather seats." I think you can tell him not to lean on the car or put his god damn coffee on it.

Some kid with a Q45 at the NICO meet was leaning on AND touching my car. You'd think at a meet, people would know not to do it. I didn't say anything, but every time he got off it I'd take a microfiber and buff out the area lightly. I figured he'd get the point. He didn't. I wanted to punch him.

I set the alarm off on some [censored] for touching the glass on my car as I walked outta the mall. Good thing I caught him too. When I walked up he said "Was that really necessary?" I said It got you away from my car, didnt it?

Re: rest coffee cup on car and sit on trunk
i was in a little restaurant with my mom a couple of weeks ago (note: my car was less than a month old then) and I choose a table right at the window where i have full view of my car. about 10 minutes later a car pulls up next to mine and some guy comes out of the little store next door and proceeds to lean on my car while speaking with the occupant of the car. i set off the panic alarm on my car which freaks the leaning guy out. needless to say, he wasn't leaning on it again. i do regret not going out and yelling at him. i guess i was afraid he'd take a key and key the crap out of my baby. some people just don't have respect for other peoples things. it's not my fault you have a beat up early 80's truck that you don't give a crap about, it doesn't mean the rest of us feel the same way.
...oookay, thanks for the venting moment-needed that![Wink](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Re: rest coffee cup on car and sit on trunk
I would view some stranger leaning against my car with about the same tolerance as some stranger leaning against my girlfriend. Hands off, buddy!!
(maybe I should put a sign in my G's window that says, "Wet Paint"? ...lol)

These are the same doofuses that let there screaming kids run around in my yard and leave their crap all over it to make dead spots in my grass....or the same ones that let their kids play grab *** at my dinner table when I'm out to eat. Thank goodness I'm too cheap to buy a stun gun.
