It just turned on tonight while I was driving, my Check Tire Light. So I pulled into a gas station and check all my tire pressure and all were ok. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I have 20's staggered set up.

 

you may have a slow leak. check your tire tread to make sure there are no nails / screws stuck in there.

try filling your tires up again and see if the alarm goes away. if it does, then comes back in a few days, you have a leak.

 

After you've checked everything Chris mentioned it's possible you have a
defective TPS. When you checked you tire pressure were they all at least
35 PSI....? Last time my light came on it was easy to find, LF at 20 PSI
and a slow leak due to the stickers Volk puts inside the rim keeping it from
seating properly.

 

its probably jus not working properly or the sensor is defective if your tires are fine look it up n ur book the light flashes faster or longer or something if it isnt working properly

 

Thanks you guys...But as oddly as the light appeared..It's no longer on..I dunno what that was all about...

I have a bad TPS that I've been meaning to fix. It goes on and off like that too. Just check the pressure and you'll be fine. It's a little alarming when it goes off for the first time, but it's no biggie if you keep an eye on your tires. Keep a pressure gauge in the glove box and check at the gas station when you fill up.

A lot of people that have aftermarket wheels drive around with the light on all the time. Mine worked until I had a wheel taken off to be polished. The guys trashed it when they put it back on.

 

my light only comes on after like a hour of highway driving when im with the Gs... weird

 

ive gotten that a few times.....usually happens when the temp changes dramatically like its REALLY ****ING hot during the day and then its cold at night that set if off a few times

 

I hit a nasty pot hole and now after driving for about 45 min the light comes on. When I turn the car off it goes off but it's enough to drive me crazy.

 

Don't forget to check your spare tire..........
