Why not... Boxster S vs. Gcoupe

it's just from personal experiences and what they read, they feel domestic cars are usually not as reliable. it think that's more of a fact though as a whole. so, how can you have no respect for them just because you disagree?
<hr></blockquote>
You're not listening or understanding me. Disagreeing with someone does not necessarily make me disrespect them. Read what I wrote again: I said I have no respect for people who don't have open minds and are biased. For example, if someone made the comment "All American cars suck and no American car could be better than an import." I would have no respect for such a person, and would deem him/her to be an ignorant, biased fool.
<blockquote><font class="small">In reply to:</font><hr>
you definitely give the impression that having a certain opinion about domestic cars means you don't love your country and that you must love another country.
<hr></blockquote>
Under the example I gave above, if a person made a comment like that, then yes, not only would I consider them an ignorant biased fool, but also un-American.
Look at most of the other countries around the world. Most have a tremendous pride in what their country builds, even if they're the biggest POS's produced. The French love their Renaults. The Italians love their Fiats. Neither car makes would win many quality awards. European airlines will only buy an aircraft if it has some major European made parts. The Japanese will only buy Japanese cars. And on and on...
I find the lack of pride in this country disturbing, particularly among the younger generation.
If Americans produced the worst cars in the world, then hey, I would agree with you. But we don't. We happen to produce some of the best cars in the world. What pisses me off is when import lovers don't give the proper respect to a good American car, because its American.

if you feel like we insulted your vette. so everyone here will agree.....your vette is SWEET and NICE!!!! i hope this war is over : )
<hr></blockquote>
This isn't about my vette, and I don't recall bringing my vette into it. Everyone accuses me of talking too much about my Z06, when the reality is everyone keeps bringing my vette into the discussion before I do!
And this isn't a war - it's a discussion. One I intend to end, because its gotten old and boring, and a waste of time. Besides, this has absolutely nothing to do with the original topic, which was Boxster S vs. G Coupe. So lets end this and bring this poor guy's thread back on topic. So reserve your comments towards me to the wall next to you, or send me a PM, or start a new thread.

No, the other way around. Chrysler is now German owned. Daimler was the acquiring company. Technically it was a "merger" but at the end of the day, DCX is German.

takuyaah - is it possible for you to get any dumber? For your sake, I hope you''re only 10 years old because if you're an adult you have the sorry mind of a 10 year old.
I wasn't going to waste my time searching through JD Powers reports, but since you're last comment was SO dumb and WRONG, and pissed me off so much, here's a slap in your face for ya:

Oh, what's this? Cadillac, Buick, and Mercury not only are way ahead of industry average in quality, but they're better than Infiniti, Toyota, Acura, and Mercedes!! Cadillac placed number 2, behind Lexus among ALL brands.
Even Chevy ranks much higher than Nissan, Subaru, Mazda and Mitsubishi.

Re: Why not... Boxster S vs. Gcoupe
Reference my earlier response to the initial post. I posted on topic and related my personal experience in a friends Boxster as compared to my G........ Oh, wait, I've fallen into a trap. Um, OK. here we go. G as fast, Boxster less quality, G is a 4 seater, Boxster 2, and here's a good one, Boxster is a convertible, G a coupe. Whoa Nellie, I'm on a roll now. Boxster a Boxer, G a V, Boxster a mid engine, G a front engine. Hey, wait a minute. It just hit me. They are two very different cars...... But I already said that.

Uh, no. 90% of a Honda Accord and Acura TL are made of American made parts. Explain that.
