About 15 years ago, some of our local, independant "Thrifty" gas stations were pumping 94 octane. Do you remember that? I used to run it in my Mitsubishi pickup all of the time. But like everything else, nothing good lasts forever. [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img]

No need to go higher than 91 for the coupe. The ignition timing was tuned for the engine to run at 91. Run lower and you run the risk of setting off the knock sensors, which will result in ignition timing retard and will lower your engine performance. Run higher than 91 and you are just wasting your money, unless you are running high compression with FI and have the need for higher octane.
