what do you guys consider "beating" on your cars?

ill normally shift anywhere between 3 to 4.5k but every now and then when time and space allows ill push her towards redline. I agree with what someone said before about the carbon build up from being so easy on the motor. Ive seen cars not run well at all from people not taking it over 3k rpm and take their cars to the mechanic only to have the tech redline 1st and 2nd and blow out a lot of excess build up and having the car run great afterwards.

+1, I tend to shift a little below 4k. But I will take her to redline a few times a week, mainly on on-ramps to highways.

accidentally shifting from D to N , i thought i was in manual mode lol , and i have only redlined once
