G35 Dies when started
Hello Everyone,
I have just started to notice a problem in my G35, when I start it the car idles and the rpms drop to 0 and it dies, I have to start it a second time then it runs although it feels like it is going to stall again. Any suggestions?

Do you have the link to this site with the instructions
It's prob your MAF sensor. This happened to me last year, in the cold, it starts fine. after its warmed up or in the heat you have to blip the throttle right after you start it to keep it from dying.
I am having the same issue. When phoning the dealer, they told me it was probably the throttle body (obviously, and expensive fix). But with talking to other people it seems like this doesn't always solve the problem or it solves it for a short amount of time, and then the problem is there again. . and the throttle body can't be defective all the time that often, can it?
I've used a compressor to spray out the maf and I've tried the reset and that doesn't help. I doubt changing the battery will do anything ( though I will charge it and see if there is a change ).
So theoretically .. maybe it could be the throttle body? Any other suggestions or changes to what I've done and what I should do instead?
Thanks,
Luke

its your throttle body, you can keep doing idle air volume learn on it but it will only be a temp fix. i remeber a while ago i was doing 3-4 throttle chambers a day on early g's (03-04) under warrenty some people never had an issue others did. just depends really, extended service contracts on these cars are a great idea from the consumer side of things.
It wouldn't be maf from what you described the easiest way to tell if that is bad is to look at the alphas on consult II which from what your describing it is not bad its a throttle chamber.
