I'm looking into a new G37s Coupe but still am real partial to the 1st Gen and there are some very nice low mileage deals out here... It's hard to say what I will do just yet.

Drove the 335i and was impressed with the low end torque, but I do like the feel of the G37s 6MT better and have memories of my BMW going to the shop over and over and over... I only had 2 trips back to Infiniti other than the normal service etc. in 90K miles. Also, the sound of my G was always a pleasure and the G37 has that, the 335i does not stir you with it's sound the way the G's do!

Yes, they only are letting residents in to keep looters etc. out and decided leaning that on the G was a good idea and a good place. Normally that would have peeved me but under the circumstances it made things no worse.

Yes, it's really hard to see and to accept it's gone after all the TLC I put in it... I guess a new G will grow on me over time; I do hope someone comes up with a front cap etc. that looks more like the old Gen because that front is my least favorite view of the G37... On the other hand the engine in the G37 has some serious potential so that could be a big plus as you know I will be making some changes eventually.

OK, I'm now the owner of a G37s 6MT, Blue Slate, Graphite, Premium Pack, Tech Pack... Have to take it in next week to have spoilers etc. installed. I will take & post pics as soon as it's done.
The 37 feels a little heavy and not as agile as the G35c, but it is well refined and pulls oh so hard to 6K RPMs (no redlining until break in) I think I like it... I still rather the 1st. gen style and will always love them; I wish they would have kept the style and gave the 1st. gen the VVEL eng, and the updated interior etc. I bet the sales would have been better.
I do miss my old G terribly and would trade the 37 right now to have her back the way she was before hurricane IKE.
Just wanted to share that with you all... Pics coming next week.
