Aftermarket parts/prices help
I have read the different forums and used the search functions...
I am close to getting an 06 G35 AT and want to add:
CAI
Clear corners
5/16 spacer
Exhaust
It seems most people recommend the JWT popcharger/Z tube; I would like to know why and where do I find these parts-a website would be great!
Clear corners-I see them used which is a great option but if I have to go new where/what website/who makes them and what are the LED options?
I have had numerous mustangs/03 Cobra so I understand how to make power; the 5/16 spacer is a new one so some help on how that helps would be great as well as where to get them, whose is better, how hard is the install, etc...
Being a mustang guy I have heard many exhausts and depending on the other mods it could change the sound plus there is a huge difference from V8 tonals to V6 tonals...I have Borla's on my 07 Tundra and love them as well as on my mustangs but read that they drone on the G's...I looked on ebay and there are some what look to be decent setups but I don't want drone...I read the post about duals vs Y pipe and really didn't understand what the sound/power difference is between the single in/dual out vs the duals all the way so any advice is appreciated!
If you have something constructive to say please do so but if you are going to respond with this topic has been covered XX times or use the search function please stay out of this....I have read and searched and still have questions.

Gregory, you ask a lot of questions. but yes im going to say it, and knew it was coming or you would not of told people not to say it. SEARCH FOOL!!!!
The clear corner lights you speak of is actually a genuine Nissan part. They are the JDM lights and can be purchased many places.
www.everythingg35.com
Riverside Infiniti (now offering jdm lights with bump!)
yes the z-tube and pop charger is a great combo but i would search around. Some run into heat soak problems and stock air box currently works the best to prevent this. Stillin makes a similar air box which works good as well.
Z-Tube+JWT popcharger combo (everythingg35.com)
The motordyne 5/16 spacer is probably the most widely used here on the forums and has proven good results. Tony from motordyne is here on the forums and can answer any of your questions....he always seems to chime in on a thread whenever his name is mentioned so we will see how long that takes. He also has some very nice exhaust on the way too which i cannot wait for!
motordyne website
you can purchase the spacer from his website or many other places including the two website I have previously mentioned.
As for gounding wires. I have read nothing but good things about Gordgee's GroundingGear. read up on it.
GoundingGear Reviews
There you go, I will let you practice your right to search to find more answers such as led lighting and all of your exhaust questions. and of course...no offense dawg

LOL..thanks..I think!
I forgot about the grounding kit and did some more searching and saw more info about the group buys that had more info..
I see CAI's such as AEM, Injen, JWT/Popcharger but did not see any hard facts about power gains...guess it comes down to preferrence..?
Guess exhaust is the same thing..there are so many of them out there..deep sound with no drone is what I am looking for.

There really isn't much to gain with intake except for a much better sound coming from your engine bay. Really, any intake you buy will give you a better sound as long as you replace that stupid "G-tube". which is the stock tube which goes from your air box to your throttle body with that silencer type thing in the middle.
There happens to be a new intake on the block which looks promising. The powerflow air filters by R2C performance. The whole kit itself is very expensive IMO but you can buy a replacement filter for other intake systems such as the popcharger, stillin, and k&n. The neat thing about this filter is its a dry reusable filter and not a oil based filter like most aftermarket ones. So it makes it much easier to clean and has less restriction (supposedly)

I have been following the motordyne exhaust for quite some time for one reason...I do not want a loud fart can exhaust on my daily driver. The new VQ (very quiet) exhaust system has my name all over it. This is what i see in my future for exhaust....
labree 2.5 resonated test pipes
motordyne XYZ pipe with resonator
VQ exhaust system
May not sound all that loud, but the thing to notice is that there is no CAT. meaning much less restriction which equals more power
Here is the link to the loooong thread about all the upcoming motordyne exhaust products.
Motordyne in hell!
But...most people on these forums will swear by HKS Exhaust and Fast Intentions exhaust.

i also came from a mustang, one thing you will learn quickly though, these cars are tuned very well from the factory unlike domestic vehicles.
enjoy it a bit before you go crazy modding everything...def a different animal than the mustangs...

That makes sense..the basic stuff is all I am doing...intake, exhaust and the spacer for performance...although I see stuff about the Kinetic stuff-intake-and am unsure if it helps on a NA engine, esp an AT...
Exterior wise I want the clear corners and the spolier.

Go with a z-tube and a drop-in hi-flow airfilter in the stock airbox....the pop charger has been known to cause the G35 to stall in hot weather conditions.
The simple explaination on the spacer is that from the factory, the plenum has a restriction in the front 2 runners feeding the front cylinders. The spacer raises the plenum and allows the front 2 cylinders to 'breathe' easier so the engine can produce more hp.
Talk to Gordgee, you can get his grounding kit....
