ok so i was at a red light and never really launched my car before..i knew how to just never did it. so while waiting for the light to turn green i 1.) turned VDC OFF 2.) put the car in neutral 3.) rev to about 2500-3000 RPM
when the light turned green i dropped it about 3000 rpm and immediately put it in manual mode..after decelerating up the road a bit i noticed when i pushed the pedal down nothing happened, the car just rev'd but no power to the wheels..so i turned around and made a U turn and the power came back to the wheels after coming to the stop. the slip light was NOT blinking at all..any ideas?
BTW im afraid to launch anymore.

launch in D off the brakes, not shifting out of neutral, the car will fall apart if you do this 2-3 times...

uhh..try doing the rev to 3k in manual mode 1st gear...

not neutral drop...you're losing like 2 seconds just switching from N to D to M...and that def ain't good for your transmission..

stupid. you'll kill your transmission doing what you did. hopefully it was just your vdc acting up and not your tranny. give it a day or 2 and see if it still happens.

to launch an auto - turn off vdc, step on the brakes with your left foot, rev to 3-4000 with your right foot then just release the brakes.

Neutral drop? You're gonna DESTROY your tranny.

Go to the drag section for proper AT launching.
