IMO driving the G is pretty easy, driving it smoothly is difficult. I had some experience when I got mine but as stated earlier it was totally different than anything that I have driven because the awkward clutch engagement. To the OP though I did teach my wife how to drive an m/t when i got this car in only two nights, she is not great at it but can drive it if need be. If she can do it than ANYONE can do it.
