I'm in need of some front tires. I have the OEM 19s.

225/40/19s in the front OEM Bridgestones
245/35/19s in the rear Nitto 555s

My question is could i run 225/35/19 in the front as well?

I know stock is 225/40/19 and 245/40/19. Not sure if that will mess with the VDC or anything. Anyone know if that'll be bad for the car somehow? Any input would be a appreciated.

Why not 245/40/19's in the rear? The 555s not come in that size?...Personally I like a little more sidewall but the 35's will work fine. Not necessarily for looks but for ride comfort. Also I have 20's with low pro's and hit something in the road and slightly bent one of my front rims. I think if the tires had a little more sidewall it wouldn't have bent them. You shouldn't have any issues with the VDC that i know of, I think what it comes down to is what looks the best. Not sure how two different sized sidewalls look. but if it looks fine I would say go with the 40s

 

Yeah, i gotcha. Reason is because I just got the 19s and it came with these tires. The 2 fronts need replacing now and the rears are good. I found a new set of 225/35/19s for a really good deal. I wonder if anyone else is running 225/35 and 245/35 on their OEMs
