I bought these cheap smoke markers from ebay and they look great, but not even after a week and they are all fogged up and looks light water got in.
Anyone with the same problem? Is there a brand that sells smoke markers that dont fog up? I mean they are soo cheap I could get another set, but whats the point if I have to change them every week. I appreciate your thoughts

Mine had the little clips fall out as i was driving. I pulled over and noticed my passenger one was hanging off the car. When i tried to take the drivers one out, it broke as well. Had them on for less than two days. And yeah...they were also beginning to fog up.
You could try and reseal them, but i think i'm gonna buy some JDM clears and customize them myself

Or you could try that wit your ebay ones. The problem is water gets in them from the seal between the two plastics. If you take them apart and reseal it, it usually cures the prob.
I also found with other cars, a few nicely placed "vent holes" on the back-side on the bottm usually lets the inside "breathe" and any water drip out the bottom.
I think I'm gonna do some surgery, it only cost 20 bucks so I dont care if I eff em up.

I took them off the car and am going to search for the diy right now, if you got a link to the diy that would save me time looking, I'm not sure if you got to put them in the oven like you do with the headlights?Originally Posted by Beebo

Ok I'm probably a dumbazz cus I can't find the diy on this. Lol, I found a diy with pictures on how to install the corners which I thought was funny because its so easy and takes two mins but I didn't see anything on how to open them and reseal them.
If anyone has done this can you post the steps? I don't know if I am suppose to put it in a oven to open it or just pry it open? I dont want to break them. Thanks.
