Clock wont light up???

I bought an 03 coupe and the clock does not light up. replaced the bulbs and it still fails to light up. What could be causing this? blown fuse? wiring problems? let me know what you think.

Either fuses or you may be getting the wrong size bulb.

I've been looking at my clock too.

Are there supposed to be lights on both sides? It seems like only the left side of mine lights up, but you can still read it in the dark. Doesn't seem right to me.

I have the same question as this guy about whether or not there are bulbs on both sides. Also, how many bulbs are in the clock? Mine seems to light only on the right side and is dim.

I think if your car is still under warranty they will replace the bulbs for you. I changed the bulbs in mine to brighter ones when one of them went out. It is a pain to get the dash trim off from around the clock display though....

I got them from http://autolumination.com/74.htm there about half way down the page. There called Neo-wedge bulbs type B. I see they have LEDs also now..

Is your car under warranty? If so they will replace them<---from what I've heard.

For what it's worth, there was a TSB for the early clocks. I believe it had to do with not being bright enough and not being able to read the time easily due to the very thin arms.
