275s IMO would buldge out on 8.5s.

Whats the purpose? Looks? Racing/ performance?

just for looks i dont race so it really doesnt matter but i wanted wider tires. i have 255's on right now but they look to skinny lol.

i just wanted to know if its safe to mount 275's on em.

ive seen 275's on stock 350z wheels and they didnt buldge out but the wheel could have been wider. im not sure but im assuming they are the same.

275s are definitely safe... If they dont buldge out then even better for you.... Its going to look nice from the back.... I had 285's on my G a while back and it just looks mean looking it at the fatty tires from the back.

Well I read that 255's are best on the 19in stock wheels but 275's will still be safe..

I was running my 285's on a 19 x 9.5in wheel.

Okay, 275's will work but I don't advise it.

You'll have no issues running 275s on your 8.5" rim, but I'd go with 35 series
rather than the 40. You'll like the way they look, I guarantee it....

lol.. mens warehouse commercial?

I just don't see a 275 on the stock 19's looking good.. Can you post pics of the 350Z? I just keep imagining it buldging for some reason.

I'm sure they'll look good but my rim is 8.5"

I have 245/40/19 up front so wat ur saying is that I should go with 275/35/19?

I did alot of research on this aswell, alot of people do not recommend 275s for a 8.5 wheel. I just bought some used rays and the guy did have 275s on it. I drove on this for a couple days and the tire noise was TERRIBLE. The tires were bald bfgs that were on there so i dunno what it was... the sound of alot more tread hitting the ground or some bald nasty tires
