After lowering I noticed...

After speeds of 65+ I get a lot of rattling, and it seems unstable, compared to OEM. I'm dropped on Tein S-Tech for 350z, and have tockico shocks; and a rear camber kit. I have 285/35/19's in the rear and had my fenders rolled. The rattle seems like it is coming from the rear. I had the alignment done, but I just don't know what the problem is...go figure.

If I went back to my old setup of 275's in the rear, would that cure anything? Someone let me know.

Thanks

Not too sure... I am picking up some S-tech's too so hopefully someone will chime in.

Could your camber kit be adjusted wrong?

Hey Nick
If you want to bring it over, I can take a look at it for you. It's possible it's the rear shock tower. There is one bolt that I didnt touch cause it comes pre-tightened from the factory. It wouldn't take long to drop it and tighten it up.

Let me know

I fit 285's with plenty of room in the back.. no rolled fenders and I was lowered.

OP, IDK my car gets unstable and rattles like that but that happens when I reach around 110

Wheels/tires the same? Thinking it may be a balance issue...

Chris, I might bring it back so you can take a look at it, I'll PM you when I get some time. Yea, it gets a little unstable at high speeds as well.

So I was driving today and omw home I noticed the car was wobbling a LOT. I looked at the rear tires, and WOW! They are shot, the inside tread is LITERALLY just ripping off the tire. I don't know why/how this happened, but I got to get new tires now. Sigh.

I'm going back to 275's...

From the wear you mentioned on the rear tires apparently you didn't get a
four wheel alignment or the toe adjusters were NOT installed correctly. How
bout the front, without adjustable a arms you'll be going thru tires on that
end too. I just went thru all this, it's imperative to get the alignment right
since quality tires are big $. You shouldn't be hearing any noises either
other than "Tire Roar" from worn tires and misalignment....G/L
