Laws explained or was it....?
Now your giving wrong information. One of my local law enforcement officers who happened to be one of my teachers showed me himself where it is unlawful to do so. Dont complain to me hes a cop so im sure he knows more than yourself about the law since hes writing the tickets. Is it something they usually site people for? No but doesnt mean that it isnt still one of those whacky rules that are in the book.
didn't tell Pearly what the law states or he doesn't know squat either. As
long as the sides show an amber glow/light it doesn't matter what the
cover looks like....the law is in the color of the light! Here's another example
of CHP officers not knowing their laws. One of the 4 times I was sighted for
tint on the 210 FWY the officer tried to tell me my windshield tint strip was
illegal. I quoted the law to him and explained where it was legal and
how to measure it. Then he tells me he can't go around measuring tint every
time he stops someone. My reply was, I guess you shouldn't be writing tickets
or stopping citizens then! Let's see, that was my Trans Am and he wrote me
for tint, no front plate and not being willing to take his ****....

Then you must be very ignorant because I also said in the same sentance that if a cop is gonna give you a tint ticket or if they are strict in your area thats the way it is. Stop crying about it, thats what we said we didnt wanna hear in the first place.
