These don't have bumps and you can use the original bulbs if you don't want the LEDs:

im sure this has probably been answered somewhere on this forum, but its hard to comb through it all...

i have a 2006 Infiniti G35 6MT and right now it is completely stock.

im looking to add some mods, but preferably not FI as its my everyday driver and i just dont want to get into all of that.

some of the things im considering:

MREV 2
Spacer(do you recommend 5/16 or 1/2)
Hi-flow intake kit w/ z tube
cat back dual exhaust(right now im looking at the stillen)
hi-flow cats(stillen)
headers(stillen)

quick math i estimate around $4,000 and around 60HP gains, is that about accurate??? anybody with these mods can you give some info on how the car handled them, and the power gains you received.

^Your not going to see a 60hp gain, I would guesstimate around 20-40hp. The list looks good but unless your getting headers for the sound they're not going to do much for the cost. The 5/16" and 1/2" spacers are practically identical and you wouldn't notice the difference between the two. Not sure how many strut bars will fit with the 1/2" spacer though.

Going off the dynos each mod claim:

MREV2 w/ spacer: minimum 15HP & 18 TQ gain
Stillen Dual Exhaust: n/a(they don't list a number, just says significant gain)
Stillen Hi-Flow Cats: 9HP & 8 TQ
Stillen Headers: 10+HP & 10+TQ
Hi-flow intake w/ z tube: 5+HP

So I'd think if these companies dynos are accurate it'd be a minimum of 40 HP gain and that's not including the exhaust, so atleast 45-50 probably.

The Stillen supercharger stage 2, Vortech or HKS would be the only FI id really consider, but they don't list a HP gain, anybody have a number?

I see your new to the modding game. Manufacturer's claims are rarely accurate, they come from businessmen trying to sell a product. Without a tune, which wasn't on your list, you won't see more then a 25hp gain. Bolt-ons doen't do much for these engines, if you want good gains there's no other option then FI.

The Stillen supercharger is the last one you want to get. Vortech would probably be your best bet. Research the FI section and you will find many threads relating to superchargers that will give you an idea of what you need to reach a certain goal. A guy in the sedan forum got 290 whp NA, I'd say with the right parts/money/time you could have good NA gains

Build details? Type of dyno? Without doing internals or cams, anybody will be lucky to get 30hp out of bolt-ons and a tune.

Dyno numbers don't mean everything since there's too many factors associated with separate runs. I also know people who have dyno'd N/A at almost 300whp on Church's magical dyno here in Socal. I never went there before but I'd probably hit 490-500whp at that place.

I didn't read the entire thread but he has higher compression pistons, meaning his is a full N/A build and not just bolt-ons. My response that you quoted was referring to the member who's asking about strictly bolt-ons.

Sup guys, I got a 2005 Infiniti g35 coupe, was wondering what mods I should get for it? I think its at 280 HP or 300 right now. Not exactly sure tbh. I would like above 400. Looking maybe to buy a Turbo Kit / if yes, what site or where to buy it from?

Well your G only has about 230 WHP. so to get to 400Whp you will need to put some cash into it.
You can do a few bolt on mods, exhaust and a tune and you could achieve something close to 300hp.

Now to get to the 400WHP It's something else. I would do a Momemtum Single Turbo if your car is Stick Shift. But I would say 400WHP will be your safe cap without building the Engine(more $$$$).

I'm Going Supercharged on mine. You can do a Vortech V3 and you can safely achieve 400WHP too and it's less money. I have an Automatic...

Just my 2Cents.

Hope it's helpful.
