OFFICIAL "What Mods Should I Buy for my Coupe?" Thread
I've done some research and I've settled for the Vortecc S/C. Price wise it goes close to this according to my research.
If you go turbo you'll be spending about 10-15K kit and professional installation...
S/C you'll be spending about 6-8K kit & installation.
I'm planning on buying a used V3 from this forum and pay no more than 3K. I have a shop in Chatsworth that will install and Tune for $1,800.-

Hi, I just bought a pristine, '03 G35 automatic. I am a '95 300zx twin turbo owner (mint).
My question is, should I bother making tasteful upgrades to the G35 auto or sell it and mod a MT?
Either way, what initial upgrades are traditional for this car? Looking for good sound and a power increase.
Thanks all.

Depends on what you want to do with the car. As a DD the automatic is fine. If you plan on tracking it regularly then get a manual.

Its the same engines for the 07's and earlier so yes. The last ten pages or so should have a listing of useful mods. There's a thread just like this one in the sedan section too.

Hey guys, just wondering what kind of intake would give me the most hp gain, and a good sound on an 05 6mt coupe? Ive been reading up about it and alot of people are saying that the 298hp model wont get much hp gain at all from an aftermarket intake. If thats the case then what intake would give me the loudest/ best sound? keep in mind that I am on a fairly strict budget right now.
Also has anyone tried out the plenum spacers from motordyne? and if so is there a big difference between the 5/16 spacer and the 1/2" spacer?

If you browse the forum you'll see they are the best choice when it comes to plenum spacers. Since you have the rev-up engine you will also need MotorDyne's MREV2, otherwise the spacer won't do anything.
